Rock A Bye Baby On The Treetop.
Rock a bye baby is a little different to many of the nursery rhymes and kids’ songs which we have created to date in that it’s both a song and lullaby often used by parents to help their little ones get off to sleep.
A search of Wikipedia confirms the origin of the song to be a little unclear, some say it dates back to the 1,700s and some say it came later in the 1,800s.
One thing’s for sure, it’s very popular today.
There are over 20 million versions of rock a bye baby on Youtube so we know we had our work cut out to come up with an original take.
As the song is used as a lullaby we wanted to make our version as calming as possible so we deliberately made the melody and vocals soft.
We also used several of our main characters to add a feeling of familiarity, safety and comfort.
That’s why you’ll see Nibbles and Robin along with appearances by Webster, Seleb, Bingo, Ana and all three kittens, Ivy, Arnie and BoBo.
Finally we introduced a video loop to add to predictability and hence a cozy feeling into the video.
I hope you enjoy.

Rock A Bye Baby Lyrics
Rock-a bye baby on the treetop,
When the wind blows the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.
Hush-a-bye baby on the treetop,
When the wind blows the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.
