Wee Willie Winkie Video

Wee Willie Winkie runs through town.

Wee Willie Winkie is a very popular nursery rhyme which originated in Scotland in the late 18,00s.

Over the years he’s made appearances in bedtime stories including The Sandman.

As always we wanted to create a unique take on the classic song which is interesting and colorful but still remains close the spirit of the traditional nursery rhyme.

Our version of Wee Willie Winkie sees him travelling through HuggyBoBo Land in his nightgown with the help of his magic umbrella.

On the way he sees Ana at her bedroom window playing with Seleb.

As he looks through the keyhole he sees MooMoo, the Monkeys, Arnie, Ivy, Nibbles, Huggy and BoBo in bed.

BoBo is very excited and claps as he sees Wee Willie Winkie float by the bedroom window.

We then see him float by Barney’s window as his mum Ria is saying goodnight to him before mischievous Webster startles him.

Once the adventure is over the video ends as our hero is back at his starting point and we zoom out into the night and leave everyone in peace to sleep.

Wee Willie Winkie Lyrics

Wee Willie Winkie runs through town,
Upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown,
Tapping at the window, crying through the lock,
Are all the children in bed?
It’s past eight o’clock.

Wee Willie Winkie runs through town,
Upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown,
Tapping at the window, crying through the lock,
Are all the children in bed?
It’s past eight o’clock.
